Nick Merico is a singer, actor, and songwriter.
Nick's first public appearance was in his 5th grade chorus production. He was nervous but his teacher saw something special in Nick and gave him his first solo. It was at one of these performances where Nick’s voice was so impressive that a few introductions were made and he has sinced worked with Grammy Winning producer Jim Jonsin and song writer of the year Rico Love on his first album. In a very short period of time others began to take notice of Nick and he has since appeared on several TV networks such as ABC on Charlie’s Angels, Univision and AmericaTeVe, NBC, featured in national commercials and magazines, has won several singing contests receiving the largest number of votes in the history of the televised singing competition. It was at one of these performances where Nick’s voice was so impressive that a few introductions were made and he is now working with Grammy Winning producer Jim Jonsin and song writer of the year Rico Love on his first album.
Nick volunteers for various city events such as the The Children Home Society, the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure fundraising concert, and the Majic Children's Fund Concert, among many others. When Nick is not performing, he is very active in playing soccer every weekend on a travel team coached by his father Fredy Merico. Some of Nick's biggest musical influences are Steve Perry of Journey, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban and Marc Anthony.
