Christopher Bard, born on febuary 28th 2000, is now 14 years old.
Christopher took an interest in Music at a very early age. His parents bought him a drum set when he was 4 yrs old and his love of Rock Music began. With lots of energy and enthusiasm he progressed quickly and by age 10 he was also starting to sing and play the Guitar. Devoting all of his free time to singing and practicing in front of an imaginary crowd music has now become the centre of his universe !
Christopher’s favourite bands that influence his style are: Green Day, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Seether, Radiohead, Simple Plan, Billy Talent, etc., French: les Vulgaires Machins, Ariel, Les Trois Accords, Xavier Caféine…
Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day’s lead singer/guitarist) and Dave Grohl (Nirvana’s drummer and now The Foo Fighters’ leader/singer/guitarist) are Christopher’s idols whom he really identifies with.
His school’s Music shows were his first live musical performance experience. He then won “Public’s choice” at St-Etienne’s “Young Music Talents” in 2012 and became “Jury’s Choice” at his regional show “Secondaire en Spectacle 2012”.
Christopher impresses with his strong voice,stage presence, charisma and overall maturity in his delivery for such a young age.
It’s with this passion that he is now composing for his debut album, scheduled to come out in 2015. He is actually looking for a record company label.
