Ajay Parikh-Friese is a self-proclaimed 16-year-old musician. He also started Close The Bombay Doors an independent music project created by him. His first recorded single "Winding Forever", was released in September 2013 - if by 'released' you mean recorded with a condenser mic in his Victoria basement and uploaded to SoundCloud. It is the first track on the upcoming debut EP "Plastic Blades". Inspired by local artists The Archers, Aidan Knight, and Chris Ho, as well as The Intermission Project and Dallas Green, Ajay Parikh-Friese does it all. He writes his own material, sings, and plays guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, harmonica and drumset. He considers photography, songwriting, and astronomy his passions. Overflowing with words and sound, Ajay has penned almost 30 songs since he began writing music at age 13. Along with being a musician, he is also a professional actor. He has performed with Pacific Opera Victoria and the Belfry Theatre and can be seen in Mr. Young on YTV, and Disney XD. There is nothing in this world that Ajay wants to do more than create music.
